If something happens to you, will they know where everything is?
WhatIf is a private vault for the accounts, policies, documents and instructions your family will need. You decide who sees each thing, and whether they see it now or only when the time comes.
No password to remember. We email you a link instead.
By continuing you agree to the Terms of Service and confirm you have read the Privacy Policy. You must be 18 or older to start a vault. If someone added you to their vault, you must be 13 or older, with a parent's or guardian's permission if you're under 18. Nobody under 13 may use WhatIf.
Even we can't read it
Everything you put in an item or document is encrypted on your phone or computer before it's saved. Your vault opens with your Face ID, fingerprint or vault password; an email link alone never opens it.
Each person sees only their part
Add your spouse, kids, executor or anyone you trust. For every item, choose exactly who can see it. Nobody sees who else is in your vault.
Now, or just in case
Some things can wait. Seal them behind a release password you leave with your attorney, in your will, or with a friend. You're emailed whenever someone asks to open sealed items, before anything opens, and can set a waiting period so you have time to stop it.
A message from you first
Record a message on your phone, upload it to YouTube as an unlisted (not public) video, and link it here for the people you love. The video stays on YouTube; WhatIf keeps only the link, encrypted. They'll see it before anything else.
Know it's up to date
Confirm each item, see what's gone stale, and review one a day until it's all done.
Everything in one place
Bank and retirement accounts, insurance, property, crypto, debts, logins, documents, and who to call.
